The house looks great. Showed up on time, communicated about when they would be able to work despite the unusual circumstances (covid). They did a good job explaining options during the work order estimate. Didn’t leave much mess. Price was very fair – cost about the same as 2 other contractors but included more work.

We got four comparable bids, but went with Milbourn. They are a third generation company, and we were sold by Dan’s professionalism and knowledge during the estimate. Tina manages their office and is extremely friendly, confident, and responsive. Chris Milbourn led the crew that did the job. He was fantastic. He stayed on schedule and let us know when the crew was coming and going. The work is better than we imagined. The garage side that faces are yard looked terrible—the last tuckpointing job smeared morter all over the break. Chris pressure sprayed and cleaned it before tuckpointing and now it looks almost like new. Just a great job. Will be recommending to neighbors.

Rebuild Chimney

They were prompt and professional when estimating our project. Sometimes you just get that gut feeling that this is the company you want for your project. They did not try to oversell the project and actually informed us that one of our brick column was just fine… there was no need to rebuild it. Chris kept us well informed. The bid by Milbourn was not the lowest.

 However, their explanation and detail descriptions of what they will do was excellent. That’s why they were chosen. The work was done as expected. We need to give it about 6 months to find out if their repairs did the trick, but I’m betting they did.

Historic St. Louis Arch

On this project we partnered with the National Park Service to replace the broken granite pavers at the entrance and seal the joints at the entrance and thru out the patio area at the Historical St. Louis Arch.

St. Louis Historical Old Court House

Once again we teamed up with the National Park Service to repair a well known historic landmark that is on the Underground Railroad register and known for historic movements in civil rights cases, The Old Court House. We were proud to have a hand in restoring such a magnificent and historically significant building. We have completed numerous projects on this building, such as, rebuilding the massive stone chimneys, repairing the granite retaining walls and iron fencing, painting and installing a new wheel chair accessible elevator.

Post Office & Customs House

On this project we teamed up with the Federal Government to bring back the grandor of an architecially beautiful, 140+ year old building in downtown St. Louis. We cleaned, sealed and applied water repellant to the limestone and marble facade.

We were contracted by the St. Louis Public School District to build flowerboxes at the front entrance of a school.

Historic Scott Joplin House

The State of Missouri acquired the property owned by the legendary ragtime musician, Scott Joplin. The entire back wall of this historic building had fallen into ruin. We rebuilt the wall meeting historical specifications. This historic site has been turned into a museum.

The existing concrete stairs were crumbling and in need of repair. We demolished the stairs and rebuilt them along with adding new steel hand railings.
